Evolt 360 Scanner Housekeeping

A simple daily + monthly checklist for your Evolt 360 Scanner

Daily Operational Checklist

  • Power the EVOLT 360 on by using the switch on the back of the base of the unit.
  • Make sure the EVOLT 360 is plugged into a surge protector to guard the device against power surges.
  • Confirm the scanner is connected to the internet, either via a password-protected Wi-Fi network or an ethernet connection.
  • Confirm the scanner is logged into your Operator Panel so it's ready to scan. If you're not logged in, the scanner will stay on the Control Panel and the red "Start Scanning" button won't appear.
  •  Login credentials for your location were sent by the EVOLT team when your unit was first purchased. If you're unsure of your credentials, please fill out the support contact form available on our website HERE
  • Once per quarter, run a software update from the Control Panel to keep the unit on the latest software:
    • Open the Control Panel by pressing the "EVOLT" logo in the upper left-hand corner.
    • The scanner must be connected to the internet to run the update.
    • When the update finishes, the scanner will reboot and return to the home page.
  • IMPORTANT: At the end of each day, power the unit off using the switch on the back of the base. This helps protect the unit in the event of a power outage or surge.

Cleaning the EVOLT

  • Wipe the screen with a microfiber cloth. If the LCD screen needs a cleaning solution, spray a small amount of Windex onto the cloth first, then wipe. Never spray any solution directly onto the screen, as moisture can get inside the unit and damage internal parts.
  • A low-moisture gym wipe can be used to clean the handles, feet electrodes, and the rest of the unit, but not the LCD screen.
